The Dark Fringe was originally released as a 4 part mini-series, created, written, and inked by yours truly and penciled by the terrifically gifted John Kissee. Original covers were colored by Ray Villarosa and are presented below. Click on them to see them in larger size:

Wander the streets of The Dark Fringe with elderly hitman Daniel Talthybios, who finds that his most dangerous job is the one that he can't complete!

The issues were collected into a Trade Paperback in 2003. I decided to re-use the second issue's cover (my personal favorite) as the cover to this paperback. I re-did the logo and colors. ISBN # 0-9729115-0-2
The book is available, at a rather steep price, from Amazon.com. If you check around ebay, you may find it for less. If all else fails and you just need to get your hands on a copy, feel free to contact me...I may have an issue or two squirreled away available for far less...
A couple of months after releasing the book, I was contacted by Platinum Studios' Scott Rosenberg, the man who pushed "Men In Black" to the silver screen and "Jeremiah" on the small screen. His company read The Dark Fringe and were interested in optioning it for the big screen. After reviewing the contracts, everything was a go. A subsequent article appeared in the December 29, 2003 edition of Variety Magazine, noting the optioning of The Dark Fringe to film (see this link for article).
Below are the entire contents of the original issue #1 of The Dark Fringe. The series was released in black and white, though I've fiddled with coloring the pages as time permits. Enjoy!
