The excitement of his going back to the city is contrasted on the next page with the mundane. Specifically, rush hour traffic. The paradox is, of course, totally intentional. Hurry up (with the idea that we're about to have some action as witnessed on the previous page) with a major slowdown (a traffic jam).

The Erebus bridge (seen in page 4), is now seen close up as Stone exits Zenith and heads into Tartarus (where Emilio's body was found). Again, without giving too much away, one need pay particular attention to the graffitti on the bridge in the final panel.
