I'm sure most of you out there have had a nightmare involving pursuit. You run as hard as you can from some murky, shadowy presence that is constantly gaining on you. You're out of breath and exhausted, but still this menace comes. That was the intention of these opening pages. As can be seen in the final panel, the shadowy, unstoppable menace is about to capture his prey.
