This piece appeared in a JLA Adventures role playing game module. The main character on this piece, believe it or not, is Wally West (for those unfamiliar with the comic book character, he was originally Kid Flash and, eventually, the Flash.  For those still unfamiliar, the Flash is a speedster character, capable of running super fast).

Needless to say, the scenario presented in the module is an alternate future.
